Note 1 - price in euros & US dollars is given for guidance only. Payment will be based on the sterling price with the conversion rate applicable at the time of entry. This will also be the case for other currencies.
Note 2 – Cancellation fees. From the time of booking until November 30th all bookings will be subject to a £150 cancellation fee. From 1st December to 31st January all confirmed bookings will be subject to a 60% of the entry fee cancellation charge. From the 1st February to 28th February all confirmed bookings will be subject to an 80% of the entry fee cancellation charge. From the 1st March to 10th March all confirmed bookings will be subject to a 90% of the entry fee cancellation charge. After 11th March and non attendance at the race will result in a 100% of the entry fee cancellation fee.
Note 3 – Travel insurance is recommended that covers you in cases where you have to cancel your participation in the 6633 Ultra.
Note 4 - It is not advisable to book a flight to leave Whitehorse before 25 March in case of a delay due to circumstances beyond the control of the organiser (such as road closure). It is possible that delays due to climatic conditions could hinder the return to Whitehorse further, so Insurance cover is highly recommended to cover such eventualities.
Entry includes
- Pre-race meal at the High Country Inn, Whitehorse (March 13th)
- Pre-race training course (March 12th and 13th)
- Quality race logoed Marmot clothing
- Framed Race memento
- All race transportation to the start (approx 500 miles) and transportation back
- Sourtoe Cocktail at Dawson at post-race party
- Medical cover throughout the race
- Support and evacuation off the course
Note - The plan is that we will once again do a road trip to and from the event. It's a long way, but having travelled the route a number of times, including during the inaugural race, I truly believe it's worth the effort. There are some awesome sites along the way including many animal and bird sightings.
Alternatively, athletes can, if they so wish, at their own expense, make their own arrangements to get to the start at Eagle Plains and/or return to Whitehorse from the finish at Tuktoyaktuk. If anyone wants further details of this option, including flight details to Dawson and Inuvik, please let me know - but don't rush into this decision - the road trip is definitely the way to go.
Medjet Assist
Hopefully you're not, but if you happen to be concerned about suffering an injury during one of our events, or any other around the globe, please check out the medical evacuation service provided by MedJet Assist. Unlike other evacuation services, Medjet Assist lets you decide which hospital will be your final destination. And there's no medical necessity clause. If you are hospitalized, MedJet Assist will be there to pick you up - regardless of the nature of the illness or injury.
