10K RACE OPTION: In addition to the longer distances, the Grand Teton Races also offers a 10K option to the weekend race festivities. (Saturday, September 1st). The 10K loop course will start and finish at the base of Grand Targhee Resort and run clockwise around Rick's Basin. This is an extended version of the last section of the Ultra and Marathon race courses. There will be one water only aid station on the course (around the 4.5 mile point), however, runners must carry their own bottle or hydration system. Entry fee is $25 (before 8/12/12) or $35 (from 8/13/12 until 8/31/12). There is NO race day registration (that means you cannot register on race morning). Participants will receive a t-shirt (if registered before 8/18/11); awards to top three males/females in the race. Registration is limited to 65 competitors. Registration for the 10K closes on Friday, August 31st at 4pm (all other races close on Wednesday, August 29, 2012). NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION!
