10K RACE OPTION NOW AVAILABLE: The Grand Teton Races has added a 10K option to the weekend race festivities. (Saturday, September 4, 8:45am) The 10K loop course will start and finish at the base of Grand Targhee Resort and run clockwise around Rick's Basin. This is an extended version of the last section of the Ultra and Marathon race courses. There will be one water only aid station on the course (around the 4.5 mile point), however, runners must carry their own bottle or hydration system. Entry fee is $25 (before 8/15/09) or $35 (from 8/15/09 until 9/3/09) and participants will receive a t-shirt (if registered before 8/15/09); medal to all finishers and awards to top three males/females in the race. Registration is limited to 60 competitors. Registration for the 10K closes on September 2nd (all other races close on Monday, August 31, 2009). NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION!
FOR ALL 100 & 50 MILE PARTICIPANTS: A minimum of 8 hours of trail work or volunteer service at a trail race is required in order to participate in those events. (This service can be performed in your local area.) DOWNLOAD THE SERVICE REQUIREMENT FORM FOR MORE INFORMATION.
