Kids’ Classes!

School is back in session. While the kiddos work their minds all day, Dreamchasers kids’ classes will complement wendy-2school work with body work! Kids will not want to miss class at Dreamchasers.

After School Class: Monday - Friday ~ 3:30 to 5:30

The after school sessions include fitness games, arts and crafts, homework stations, music, and creative activities.

$10 per class or $90 for 10 punch card

Daytime Kids: M/W/F~ 10:30 to 12:00 and T/TH ~ 10:00 to 11:00

The daytime sessions will promote free play activities that encourage social skills and stimulate creativity.

$5 per class or $50 for 10 punch card.

Limited class schedule this week!

The Dreamchasers class schedule is limited the week of August 22. Please check the online class schedule for the updated times and days. We apologize for the inconvenience! The regular August schedule will resume the following week. The September schedule is also posted with new times and days to accomodate the start of school!

Volunteers Needed

This Saturday, August 7, Dreamchasers and the Teton Valley Chamber of Commerce are hosting the 34th Annual john-colterJohn Colter Half Marathon and 2 mile fun run. This is an August tradition in Teton Valley, celebrating our local history and incredible community.

If you are not planning on running, we would greatly appreciate your help at an aid station. All volunteers will need to arrive at Driggs City Park at 7:40 am on Saturday. For more information and to volunteer, contact Lisa at lisa@dreamchaserevents.com.

Stay after the race as the celebration of history and community continue with the Driggs Centennial Celebration at the Driggs City Park. Free food and entertainment.

Wednesday Night Speaker ~ Stewart Portelalegends-book
July 28 at 7 pm ~ Dark Horse Books (Main St, Driggs)

Stewart Portela, author of LEGENDS OF THE FALL: A HISTORY OF HIGH SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY IN IDAHO will speak this Wednesday at Dark Horse Books. Of particular interest to local runners and THS alumni is a section on Teton High School cross country history, which began in 1995.

THS Cross Country will gain a percentage of the proceeds from the book sales . This is a local cause that benefits a remarkable group of young people.

GROUP TRAIL RUN: Stewart will lead a gentle, out and back trail run. All interested runners are welcome to join the run starting from Teton High School at 4:30 on Wednesday.

GTR Training Clinic

Whether you want to get ready for your first 10k or looking for a 50 miler PR, Lisa’s GTR training clinic is for all abilities and levels.

We will meet Mondays at 6 pm at Teton HS track and Wednesdays at 5:30 at Dreamchasers.

Starts Monday, July 26
Mondays @ 6 & Wednesdays @ 5:30

Topics include: gait analysis, running form, running hills and flats, cross training, stretching, hydration, fueling, nutrition, training plan for your distance, and recovery plan.

The cost is $80 for the 6 week clinic. The rate includes a 30 minute one on one session with Lisa, scheduled at your convenience.

Fun Fitness for the Kids will be available Mondays and Wednesdays during training sessions. Great rates and reservations needed.

Trail Time!

Join us at 6 pm every Wednesday

It’s to the trails and time to play!

All levels and abilities are welcome. Meet at Dreamchasers in Driggs on Wednesdays at 6 pm. We will carpool to a different trailhead each week. Multiple lengths and difficulties will accommodate all runners.

Boot Camp- New Drill Sergeant in a Dress

Don’t let her sweet little flower print Nuu Mu dress fool you. Lisa is going to use the outdoors to work you out. Plan on leaping, bounding, walking, and running from one end of Driggs City Park to the other. But don’t worry, Lisa will make sure you are smiling, sweating, laughing, and cursing the whole time. All levels and abilities are welcome and encouraged!

boot-camp Boot Camp begins at o600 hours. (That is 6 am, for you civilians). Starting Tuesday, July 6. Driggs City Park (unless raining, then classes will be at Dreamchasers). Boot Camp is also offered at 6 pm on Tuesdays.

~Please note, Boot Camp is the regular 6 am & 6 pm Dreamchaser classes, now being held at Driggs City Park.
